Business Licenses within the City of Iona shall be issued upon applicant’s compliance with provisions, and upon approval of the City Council specified in Title 4 Chapter 1 of the Iona City Code (T4CH01<\/a>). To apply for a license, please print and complete the form below and submit to to the City Clerk’s office along with the $100.00 licensing fee payable by cash or check. Renewals for Business Licenses are $50.00. The City Clerk shall present the license application to the City Council no later than the second regular Council meeting after the application was submitted.<\/span><\/p>\n

In any event, the Council shall grant or deny the application on or before the second regular Council meeting following its initial presentation. The Council shall order the Clerk to issue the license or deny the application and return the license fee with a notice of rejection to the applicant.<\/span><\/p>\n

No license will be granted for a period greater than one year, and licenses shall expire on December 31 of the calendar year for which they were issued.<\/span><\/p>\n
